Arthur Street

Principal Software Engineer, CSIRO Data6 , CSIRO Data61

Arthur is the technical lead on a team that's building a tool to help government agencies open their data to a wider audience, while limiting the risk of re-identification of individuals in the data; it is currently in trials with the Australian Bureau of Statistics. He is also collaborating with researchers to incorporate cutting-edge provable privacy guarantees into the software.

Previously he worked on the open-source TerriaJS platform, developing a charting feature now used by the Australian Renewable Energy Mapping Infrastructure, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission; displaying Australian Bureau of Statistics data on National Map; and creating visualisations of water sensor data across Australia for BoM using the Sensor Observation Service API.
