Earlier in August, we shared the good news that Sandy Irani had joined the Simons Institute as our new associate director. She will be on leave from UC Irvine for the duration of her appointment, and will be commuting to Berkeley each week from her home in Southern California. Director Shafi Goldwasser sat down with her to discuss Sandy’s work and vision for her role at the Institute.
