Farewell to Luca

We are heartbroken by the loss of Luca Trevisan, who served as senior scientist at the Simons Institute from 2014 to 2019. Luca passed away on June 19 in Milan, with his husband, Junce, and a few others who were close to him by his side.

We will be devoting the next issue of the newsletter (coming soon) to celebrating Luca's life.
