Cindy Siqi

Siqi Zeng is a first-year PhD student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She recently achieved the Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mathematical Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University. During her undergraduate studies, she demonstrated a keen interest in applied machine learning and had the privilege of being advised by Prof. Fei Fang and Prof. Hoda Heidari. Venturing further into her academic journey, Siqi will embark on a new phase of research under the guidance of Prof. Han Zhao at UIUC. Her scholarly pursuits have sparked recent fascination in the domains of representation learning and multimodal learning. Building upon this foundation, Siqi endeavors to drive the development of cutting-edge machine learning systems with far-reaching applications and societal impact.
