Yang Yu received the PhD degree in computer science from Tsinghua University in 2018. His PhD supervisor is Xiaoyun Wang. He then joined the CWI Crypto group as a postdoc researcher hosted by Ronald Cramer and Léo Ducas. Since April 2019, he joined the EMSEC team in IRISA Rennes as a postdoc researcher co-working with Pierre-Alain Fouque and Adeline Roux-Langlois. His research interest is lattice based cryptography, particularly (1) designing and analyzing new lattice algorithms, (2) attacks and concrete security estimates for lattice cryptosystems, (3) optimizing and designing practical cryptosystems.
