Yang Yu received his PhD degree in computer science from Tsinghua University in 2018. His PhD supervisor was Xiaoyun Wang. He then joined the CWI Crypto Group as a postdoctoral researcher hosted by Ronald Cramer and Léo Ducas. Since April 2019, he has been a member of the EMSEC team in IRISA Rennes as a postdoc researcher, working with Pierre-Alain Fouque and Adeline Roux-Langlois. His research interest is lattice-based cryptography, particularly, designing and analyzing new lattice algorithms, attacks and concrete security estimates for lattice cryptosystems, and optimizing and designing practical cryptosystems.
