Shiping Liu
Shiping Liu is currently a Professor at University of Science and Technology of China. He received his PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) degree from University of Leipzig and Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Juergen Jost. He worked as a Research Associate in Durham University during 2013-2016 with Prof. Norbert Peyerimhoff, Dr. Alina Vdovina, Dr. Ioannis Ivrissimtzis and Dr. Stefan Dantchev.
His current research interests lie in topics from discrete geometric analysis, including spectral graph theory and discrete Ricci curvature theory. Recently, he is particularly interested in applying ideas from Riemannian geometry and global analysis to the study of equiangular line problems and Terwilliger conjecture on finiteness of amply regular graphs.
