Seyed Khashaiar Gatmiry

Khashayar is a final-year PhD student in the EECS department at MIT, co-advised by Stefanie Jegelka and Jonathan A. Kelner. His research spans machine learning and optimization, with a focus on improving the efficiency and reliability of our training algorithms, as well as understanding the fundamental principles behind the practical success of modern deep learning and transformers. During his PhD, he has been a research intern at both Google and Microsoft Research.
