Saeed Seddighin is a third-year PhD student at the University of Maryland. He holds a diploma in computer engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. His research interests lie in Game Theory and Mechanism Design. Seddighin has participated in the International Olympiad in Informatics, and received a silver medal in 2007. He also participated in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC) World Finals in 2009 and 2010. He has been honored to receive a Dean's Fellowship from the University of Maryland, and is a member of the Iranian National Foundation of Elites.
