Páll Melsted

Assistant Professor, University of Iceland

Pall Melsted is an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Iceland. He received his PhD in 2009 in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization from the Department of Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University and was a postdoc with Jonathan Pritchard at University of Chicago. His research interests are algorithms for genome assembly, bioinformatics and probabilistic data structures.
