Lap-Chi Lau

Associate Professor, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Lap-Chi Lau received his BSc degree from CSE CUHK, and his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Toronto. During his graduate studies, he spent three summers working in the Theory Group of Microsoft Research in Redmond, and two winters in the Egerváry Research Group on Combinatorial Optimization (EGRES) in Budapest. He was a visiting researcher at Microsoft Research New England in the spring of 2009. Lap-Chi's research interests include combinatorial optimization, approximation algorithms, graph algorithms and computer networks.
