David Dynerman

David Dynerman is interested in applications of algebra to problems outside mathematics. At Berkeley he is working with Eva Nogales (Molecular & Cell Biology) and Bernd Sturmfels (Mathematics) to develop new algorithms for 2D->3D reconstruction in cryo-electron microscopy. He completed his PhD in May 2015 under the guidance of Shamgar Gurevich.
