Arkadev Chattopadhyay

Assistant Professor, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

Since September 2012, Arkadev Chattopadhyay has been a faculty member at the School of Technology and Computer Science at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Theory Group of the University of Toronto from September 2009 to August 2012, and a member of the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton from 2008 to 2009, with the group led by Avi Wigderson. Before that, Chattopadhyay was a graduate student at the School of Computer Science at McGill University in Montreal from 2002 to 2008, advised by Denis Thérien. Chattopadhyay obtained his undergraduate degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1994.
